Macroscopic Description: Kathleen McBride
The exterior has purple black fusion crust with polygonal fractures. The interior is black and powdery with light <1 mm sized chondrules/inclusions.
Thin Section (,2) Description: Tim McCoy and Emma Bullock
The sections consist of moderately abundant small chondrules (up to 0.5 mm), mineral grains and CAIs set in a black matrix; metal and sulfide grains are present. Olivine compositions are Fa1-40, orthopyroxene is Fs1-30. The matrix consists pre-dominantly of an Fe-rich serpentine. The meteorites are CM2 chondrites.
