Macroscopic Description: Kathleen McBride
Small patches of purplish-black fusion crust are on the exterior; some evaporites are present. The interior is a black matrix with tiny light colored chondrules.
Thin Section (,2) Description: Tim McCoy and Emma Bullock
The section consists of a few small chondrules (up to 0.5 mm), mineral grains and CAIs set in a black matrix; rare metal and sulfide grains are present. Olivine compositions are Fa1-37 and pyroxenes are Fs1-26. The matrix consists pre-dominantly of an Fe-rich serpentine. The meteorite is a CM2 chondrite.
