Macroscopic Description - Curtis Calva | |
The exterior has a smooth, dull fusion crust that is dark brown with lots of small iridescent weathering spots and fractures. The exposed interior is light gray with dark gray inclusions up to 1 mm. There are evaporites in the fractures. The interior has a gray matrix with some orange rust in it. There are dark gray inclusions in areas of dark gray. The sample is friable. | |
