Macroscopic Description - Curtis Calva | |
The exterior is covered with 100% smooth brown to dark brown fusion crust. The fusion crust has a single large iridescent weathering spot that is very rusty. There are evaporites on the exterior with a few small fractures. The orange-brown interior is heavily rusted. The interior contains white inclusions up to 1 mm with metal and patches of grey matrix. | |
