85% of the exterior has black fusion crust, frothy and fractured in areas. The interior is a black matrix with white specks visible. |
The section consists of a few small chondrules (up to 0.5 mm), mineral grains, and CAIs set in a black matrix; rare metal and sulfide grains are present. Olivine compositions are Fa0-33. Aqueous alteration of the matrix is substantial, but the chondrules are modestly altered. The meteorite is a CM1/2 chondrite. |
