The reason that we are advancing the second extraction time is that there is a major issue - how are the particles preserved?  Everything engineering wise may have worked out, we need proof that a portion of the particles survived unmelted.  So far we have done us a disfavor by removing only the small particles.

We need to scan only the cells with larger particles in the next
column: 54, 51, 44 52, 53 in that order.  We need to establish that portion of the unmelted particles did survive; this is very very important.
