Diffuse metal contamination (concentrations from spectra taken in blank regions). >=2sigma detections for sulfur, chlorine, potassium, calcium, manganese, iron, nickel, copper, zinc, gallium, selenium, bromine. Non-detections (BDL, or <2sigma) for titanium, vanadium, chromium, rubidium, cerium Particulate concentration and composition: based on observed concentrations of "hot spots" outside of the tracks. Within the mapped area of the blank Aerogel sample we found some small grains (only a single spot in the mapping) having high Cr and Zn concentrations. (Files: Cr_blank_3D.eps and Zn_blank_3D.eps) FTIR: Minor CH2 (2940 cm-1), C=O (1720 cm-1), and amide (1640 cm-1) contamination. Contamination is homogeneously distributed throughout keystone.
