Cell 2027 was removed from the grid in March, 2006. The terminal grain from the longest carrot track (Grain 1) was removed by Snead on 1/14/06, FTIR spectrum measured by Keller, and then it was FIBed by Stroud 4/11/06. Track was then quickstoned by K. Messenger and M.Zolensky on 5/1/06. Another terminal grain (#2) removed and microtomed by K Nakamura 6/15/06.
