Track 121 was recovered from a chip that fell off of C2005 during the tile removal process on February 20, 2007. Nakamura-Messenger used the Ishii knife to extract the track from the chip on June 20, 2007. Nakamura-Messenger has also extracted particles from this track. The track and its history are fairly well documented.
