Macroscopic Description - Kathleen McBride
30% black thin fusion crust is on the exterior. The interior is rusty brown with metal and light colored inclusions/chondrules.
Thin Section Description (,2) - Tim McCoy, Cari Corrigan, Linda Welzenbach
This small section exhibits large chondrules (up to 3 mm) and a few CAIs in a dark matrix. Olivines range from Fa1-4 and pyroxene is Fs1, although few grains were measured. The meteorite is a CV3 chondrite. |
